Rick Lofton — Vinyl of Venus
Ether
The cover plate is published from the song-page master. The master also paints a play badge onto the corner of the cover; it is left as supplied rather than retouched, and the real play control below is disabled with its reason.
Not available. There is no audio file anywhere in the supplied material — not one, in any archive or in this site — so there is nothing for this control to play. It is shown because the artwork paints it, and it is disabled because playing nothing while appearing to play something would be a lie.
Lyrics
Reproduced exactly as the supplied lyric document has it, including the document’s own title, author and date lines, its line order, its capitalisation and its repetitions. Nothing is completed, corrected, paraphrased or added.

I’m connected to energyTo nature, de etherThe fifth elementknown as loveAbsorbed from the SunThrough the skinThe ether fills me upAnswers all questions,It keeps me connectedTo natureWhat lies beyondCast a spell through a songRevealing patterns to us allThe ether fills me upFuels me inspirationThrough de ether I connect

Their spell was written in bloodBrocken with love and a guitarTheir lies hide the truthOur spirits rememberedThey preverted the mathTo keep us off taskOff track, and disconnectedIt's our minds they infectedMade us forgetHow to ground ourselvesConnect with the etherHow to speak with the divineWith a seed wrapped in songYou're awakenedNo longer forsakenOverlooked or out of placeWhen you're lostVisualize a flameIn the middle of your third eyeSee it clear then recite

With skin dark as nightA spirit brighter than the SunA legacy four times as longWe're de originatorsDominate geneThe first to chart the starsOpenly hatedDespite our vibrationWe're feared and misunderstoodConquerors of circumstanceThe first inventorsThe embodiment of lightThe source of all derivativesMasters of the mind,Perfectors of the body,Keepers of the spiritYour blood runs deepYour history is thickYou are the sourceThe beginning and the end
