Adjust your experience

These three controls change this page as soon as you choose them. Each one is applied for real; none of them is a picture of a control.

Your choices are kept in this browser only. They are written to this browser’s local storage the moment you change one, they never leave your device, they are not sent anywhere, they are not tied to an account, and nobody at Quill Productions can see them. Clearing your browser data, or the button below, removes them.

Your operating system and browser settings are respected whatever you choose here. If your device asks for reduced motion, this site reduces motion before you touch anything on this page. If your browser sets a minimum or default text size, that still applies underneath these steps.

These settings apply while you are on this page. There is no site-wide preference layer yet and no signed-in profile to keep them in, so they are not carried to the rest of the site and not attached to an account.

Text size

Steps up from the standard size. There is no step below standard: shrinking the body text would make this page harder to read, not easier.

Contrast

Higher contrast repaints every surface on this page onto the darkest and lightest approved colours.

Motion

Reducing motion here shortens every transition on the page to nothing. It cannot switch motion back on when your device has asked for it to stop.

Your device is not currently asking for reduced motion.

Removes the three choices from this browser and returns the page to its standard text size, standard contrast and your device’s own motion setting.

The supplied design has no preview or sample text block, and none was added. The whole page is the preview: every heading, paragraph, label and control below changes with the setting.

What the wireframe shows here and this page does not

  • Captions There is no audio or video on this page, and no captioned media anywhere on this site yet, so a captions switch would have nothing to switch. It will belong with the first video that ships, on the player itself.
  • Keyboard focus Focus indication is not a preference here. Every focusable control on this site shows a focus ring, there is no rule anywhere in the stylesheets that removes one, and a switch would imply the rings can be turned off. They cannot.
  • Screen reader The hero illustration shows a screen-reader key. A website cannot turn a screen reader on or off; that is your own software, and this page has no business pretending otherwise.
  • Text spacing No spacing control appears in the supplied design, and none was added. Line height, letter spacing and word spacing on this page come from the shared token layer, and the layout holds when you override them yourself in your own browser.

Accessibility principles

These fifteen statements are the supplied wording, printed word for word. They describe intent and practice. None of them is a conformance claim, and none of them has been tested against a published standard yet.

  1. 1. Our Approach

We design with usability and inclusivity in mind across our digital experiences. Our goal is to help everyone access information and complete tasks in ways that work best for them.

  2. 2. Supported Interaction Methods

Our sites and tools are designed to work with a variety of interaction methods, including keyboard, mouse, touch, voice input, switch devices, and assistive technologies.

  3. 3. Keyboard Navigation

You can navigate many parts of our site using a keyboard. Focus indicators show where you are, and you can typically use Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys to move and interact.

  4. 4. Focus and Structure

We use clear headings, logical order, and visible focus indicators to help you understand where you are and how content is organized.

  5. 5. Text and Contrast

We aim for readable text and sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds. You can adjust text size and preview contrast using the tools above.

The tools above are the three controls in Adjust your experience. They change this page for real and are kept in this browser.

  6. 6. Images and Alternative Text

Informative images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies when appropriate.

  7. 7. Audio, Video, Captions, and Transcripts

We provide captions and transcripts where available to help make multimedia content more accessible.

  8. 8. Forms and Error Messages

Forms include labels and instructions. We provide clear error messages and suggestions to help you fix mistakes and complete your submissions.

  9. 9. Motion and Animation Controls

You can reduce or stop non-essential motion. We avoid content that flashes in a way that may be distracting.

The motion control above reduces motion on this page. Your device’s own reduced-motion setting is honoured across the whole site, whether or not you use it.

  10. 10. Assistive Technology Testing

We test with assistive technologies where possible to help identify and address potential barriers.

  11. 11. Third-Party Content

Our site may include third-party content or services. We encourage those providers to consider accessibility in their experiences.

  12. 12. Known Limitations

We are continually improving. Some areas may not yet be fully accessible. See our feedback process or report an issue below.

The feedback process is principle 14 on this page, and the report form is further down this page. The wireframe underlines neither, so both links were added here rather than leaving the sentence pointing at nothing.

  13. 13. Requesting Assistance

If you need help accessing any content or feature, let us know. We will do our best to provide information in an alternative format or support.

No response time is promised here, because none has been agreed. Requests go to the support routing page, which is itself still a shell.

  14. 14. Feedback Process

We welcome your feedback about accessibility barriers you encounter. Your input helps us improve for everyone.

  15. 15. Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review and update our experiences as we learn and as technology evolves.

Report an accessibility issue

Let us know if you encounter a barrier while using our site or services. Your feedback helps us improve the experience for everyone.

Read this before you fill the form in. There is no accessibility reporting address yet: no inbox, no ticket queue and nothing behind this form to receive a report. Nothing you type here is sent, stored or transmitted anywhere, and this page will never tell you that a report was received. What the form does is check what you have written and hand it straight back to you, so you can send it through the support routing page.

Fields the wireframe shows that are not built

  • Barrier Type The wireframe shows a select and no option list. Inventing categories would invent a taxonomy nobody has agreed, and the description field carries the same information in your own words.
  • Preferred contact method The wireframe shows a select with no options and no name, email or phone field anywhere to receive the contact detail. There is also nothing behind the form that could reply, so asking how you would like to be contacted would be a promise this page cannot keep.
  • Attachment There is no upload handler, no storage and no malware scanning, so no file could be accepted. The wireframe’s helper line names file types and a size limit that nothing on this site enforces, so neither the control nor the claim is reproduced.

Both values stay as their markers. No standard, version, conformance level, audit, certification body, review date or review cadence has been supplied for this page, and none may be written in until one is confirmed and signed off.

Need assistance?

If you need content in a different format or help accessing our site, please request assistance.

No accessibility email address, postal address, phone number or named contact appears anywhere in the supplied material, so this control goes to the support routing page, which is itself still a shell. No response time is stated, because none has been agreed.

Additional resources

  • Accessibility Features Overview
  • Keyboard Shortcuts Guide
  • Plain Language Summary
  • Site Map

These four are printed as links in the supplied design and none of them has a page behind it. They are shown as plain text rather than as links that would open nothing.

This program is a work in progress. We are committed to learning and improving over time.
