Recommended for a Git-backed website with reviewable deployments

This is a scoped recommendation for the use case shown, not a universal optimum or an installed integration.

Core architecture

| Layer | Component | Role | | --- | --- | --- | | Input | Git repository | Source • lockfile • framework files | | Input | Build settings | Root folder • build command | | Input | Environment config | Preview vs production • private secrets | | Core | Vercel | Build • host • create deployment URLs | | Quality gate | Deployment verification | Ready state • commit identity • behavior | | Output | Preview deployment | Review branch changes before release | | Output | Production site | Serve the approved application |

Connection labels

1. Connect the intended Git repository and config 2. Inspect build logs and the deployed URL 3. Promote or release the verified version

Blue lines indicate manual/local workflow steps. Purple dashed lines indicate a separately configured connection, which may include human gates; they are not claims that the entire path is unattended. Orange indicates review/refinement. Core diagram mode: configured.

Supporting tools

  • GitHub: Version source and review pull requests.
  • Framework tools: Build and test the app locally.
  • Supabase: Optional persistent application data.

What to check

  • Environment scope: Keep test and production values distinct.
  • Runtime health: Exercise real controls and server paths.
  • Rollback point: Keep a known-good deployment target.

Optional extension

  • Git commit: Start a deployment
  • Vercel build: Install and compile
  • Preview checks: Inspect the result
  • Release review: Approve the version
  • Production URL: Verify the release

Configured Git deployment path. Verify branch mapping, build configuration, secrets, and release policy. Updating an environment variable may require a fresh deployment.

Lean starter

Git repository + Vercel + the app's build checks. A static page does not need a database or email service.

Example

Branch update → preview build → inspect at mobile and desktop → approve → verify the production commit.
