Recommended for a bounded browser-built application prototype
This is a scoped recommendation for the use case shown, not a universal optimum or an installed integration.
Core architecture
| Layer | Component | Role | | --- | --- | --- | | Input | User problem | Audience • task • expected outcome | | Input | UI brief | Screens • controls • sample content | | Input | Acceptance checks | Actions • errors • stated storage model | | Core | Replit Agent | Build • preview • iterate the prototype | | Quality gate | Interaction review | Real controls • mobile fit • truthful state | | Output | Working project | Keep a tested prototype checkpoint | | Output | Deployment URL | Publish only after readiness checks |
Connection labels
1. Describe the app and what is outside scope 2. Exercise the real preview and inspect errors 3. Keep the checkpoint or publish deliberately
Blue lines indicate manual/local workflow steps. Purple dashed lines indicate a separately configured connection, which may include human gates; they are not claims that the entire path is unattended. Orange indicates review/refinement. Core diagram mode: manual.
Supporting tools
- Browser preview: Test the actual interaction flow.
- GitHub / export: Optional source portability route.
- Database service: Add only for verified persistence.
What to check
- Feature honesty: A visible form is not proof of saving.
- State behavior: Confirm what survives a reload.
- Deployment checks: Inspect the published URL separately.
Optional extension
- Browser UI: Collect valid input
- Server route: Authorize the action
- Database: Persist the record
- App response: Confirm real saving
- Logs / review: Inspect outcomes
Optional production extension after the prototype works. Choose supported hosting and database services, configure secrets, and test access and failure behavior before promising persistence.
Lean starter
Replit + a clear brief + browser-based testing. Keep early prototypes on sample data without unnecessary integrations.
Example
Checklist brief → working controls → verify errors and reload behavior → preserve the project → review before publication.
