Supporting tools

  • Obsidian / wiki: Keep organized long-term knowledge.
  • Calendar: Coordinate learning or review sessions.
  • Trusted bot: Optional scoped automation only.

What to check

  • Permission scope: Test a non-admin member's access.
  • Channel clarity: Give each channel a clear purpose.
  • Bot identity: Verify publisher and requested permissions.

Optional extension

  • Allowed channel: Receive an event
  • Discord bot: Check permissions
  • Server worker: Validate the task
  • Optional AI API: Draft a response
  • Moderated reply: Return useful output

Optional bot workflow. Configure Discord app credentials and channel permissions; protect tokens on a backend and restrict which requests can trigger actions.

Lean starter

Discord + clear channels and roles + a place to keep durable decisions. An AI bot is optional, not a prerequisite.

Example

Question in a channel → discussion in a thread → moderator checks → approved summary added to the knowledge base.
