Create a precise UI prototype and carry it into a reviewed release workflow.

BEGINNER / INTERFACE BUILDER

1. Set the stage

Use v0 in a browser and start with a single screen. Publishing and backend integration are separate decisions from getting the interface right.

1. Open the workspace

Sign in at v0.app with the account available to you. Create a project and check its current usage and sharing settings.

2. Describe the interface

Provide the layout, content, intended actions, and responsive behavior. Attach a wireframe you may use when it helps communicate the target.

3. Verify the preview

Exercise the real controls, not only their appearance. Check focus, errors, narrow screens, and what the sample data can actually do.

4. Review the code & release

Use the supported code or Git workflow. Review changes and deployment configuration, then inspect the deployed URL after a controlled release.

2. Lean working stack

| Stage | Role | | --- | --- | | Design brief | Define the screen | | v0 | Build the interface | | Git review | Inspect the code | | Vercel | Deploy & verify |

Arrows in the visual sheet show the order of work. External connections require separate setup. Optional tools may be replaced with ones you already use. This is a suggested stack for this task, not a universal optimum.

Describe behavior explicitly

Name the click outcome and state that should be preserved. A screenshot cannot specify validation, saving, or keyboard behavior by itself.

Add a backend intentionally

Begin with a clear demo state. Add a database or server integration only after defining access rules and verifying both success and failure.

3. First practice task

Build a responsive guide library with topic filters and an accessible detail dialog. Use sample guides, include a clear close control, and do not claim downloads are emailed or saved to an account.

Your setup is working when

Filters and the dialog work with pointer and keyboard, the layout fits mobile, and the preview accurately describes its sample-data limitations.

Troubleshooting

Unexpected layout? Add dimensions and hierarchy. Non-working button? Specify its result. Failed deployment? Check the build and runtime logs.
