Create a controlled visual concept, then finish it with precise typography.

BEGINNER / WEB IMAGE CREATION

1. Set the stage

Start at the official website. An active plan is required to generate; the web route avoids needing a Discord setup for your first image.

1. Sign in & choose access

Open midjourney.com, sign in, and review the available subscription plans and usage terms before generating.

2. Open the Create page

Use the Imagine bar. Describe the subject, setting, lighting, palette, and composition in clear visual language.

3. Set the composition

Choose an aspect ratio suited to the deliverable. Generate a test, compare the results, and vary one important detail at a time.

4. Refine & download

Use available variation or editing tools on the selected result. Download it, then add exact titles and body text in a design tool.

2. Lean working stack

| Stage | Role | | --- | --- | | Visual brief | Define the concept | | Midjourney | Create the artwork | | Canva | Typeset precisely | | Human review | Inspect & export |

Arrows in the visual sheet show the order of work. External connections require separate setup. Optional tools may be replaced with ones you already use. This is a suggested stack for this task, not a universal optimum.

Describe the picture

A focused prompt is easier to steer than a pile of style terms. For Quill, specify deep teal, realistic brass, and clean continuous surfaces.

Separate image and information

Generate the illustration here; typeset instructions, statistics, and tiny labels separately so the final learning sheet stays legible.

3. First practice task

A polished brass grand piano in a deep teal library, warm directional lighting, quiet space on the left for a title, crisp realistic materials, no text, no dotted architecture.

Your setup is working when

The composition fits the intended crop, important details hold up at full size, and the final typeset design has been checked before export.

Troubleshooting

Busy image? Reduce objects. Wrong crop? Change aspect ratio. Bad lettering? Remove generated text and typeset it in the design tool.
