Create a useful visual concept with a repeatable prompt and settings.

BEGINNER / BROWSER IMAGE TOOL

1. Set the stage

Begin in Leonardo's official web app with one image brief. Review the available model, generation settings, and account allowance before creating variants.

1. Open your workspace

Visit leonardo.ai and follow the official app link. Sign in and review the current image-generation tools available to your account.

2. Set the image goal

Choose the relevant generation tool and output ratio. Describe the subject, material, palette, lighting, and intended empty space.

3. Generate a small test

Make an initial result before requesting many variations. Compare composition and subject quality; change one setting or prompt detail at a time.

4. Select & finish

Save the chosen image and useful settings. Inspect fine details, then add precise typography and diagrams in a separate layout tool.

2. Lean working stack

| Stage | Role | | --- | --- | | Prompt brief | Specify the image | | Leonardo | Generate & refine | | Canva | Compose the sheet | | Human review | Check full size |

Arrows in the visual sheet show the order of work. External connections require separate setup. Optional tools may be replaced with ones you already use. This is a suggested stack for this task, not a universal optimum.

Keep the result reproducible

Record the prompt and the model/settings shown. A later model or preset change can alter the result even if the prompt stays the same.

Avoid an oversized workflow

Start with one generator and one layout app. Add upscaling only after the composition works; enlargement cannot fix a wrong structure.

3. First practice task

Create a realistic brass cello beside a neat stack of books in a dark teal library. Leave clear title space on the left. Use clean surfaces, warm light, and no words or tiny decorative dots.

Your setup is working when

The subject is coherent, proportions and framing fit the project, and the saved file is ready for exact text in the final layout.

Troubleshooting

Inconsistent style? Reuse the same settings. Busy background? Reduce objects. Poor details? Refine the original before upscaling.
