Ideogram Setup Guide

Create a strong poster concept, then verify every letter before release.
BEGINNER / IMAGE & DESIGN
1. Set the stage
Start with the official app and one simple composition. Even a tool used for text-rich imagery still needs a careful spelling and legibility check.
1. Open & sign in
Go to ideogram.ai and sign in. Use the Image creation entry and inspect the options shown for your workspace.
2. Specify the composition
Describe the subject, layout, palette, and ratio. Keep any generated wording short and quote the exact words you intend to appear.
3. Compare the results
Check the wording character by character, then inspect the artwork and hierarchy. Refine one issue instead of changing the entire brief.
4. Finish exact information
Download the selected artwork. Typeset long instructions, commands, and small labels in a layout tool for reliable final text.
2. Lean working stack
| Stage | Role | | --- | --- | | Design brief | Set the hierarchy | | Ideogram | Explore concepts | | Layout tool | Finalize the text | | Human review | Inspect & export |
Arrows in the visual sheet show the order of work. External connections require separate setup. Optional tools may be replaced with ones you already use. This is a suggested stack for this task, not a universal optimum.
Separate concept from final copy
A visually convincing word may still be misspelled. Keep an approved text master and compare it with the exported design.
Use the app's organization
Keep a project collection or a clear local asset folder. Save the prompt and selected image so later revisions start from the right version.
3. First practice task
Create a refined teal-and-brass learning poster concept with a harp on the right and one short title: "LEARN WITH QUILL". Leave the lower area quiet for separately typeset instructions.
Your setup is working when
The concept matches the brief, any displayed words are correct, and exact instructional content is added as readable text before export.
Troubleshooting
Bad text? Shorten it or typeset separately. Wrong layout? Specify placement. Too much detail? Remove competing objects and effects.
