Turn an approved short script into clear, reviewed narration.

BEGINNER / TEXT TO SPEECH

1. Set the stage

Start with the web Text to Speech tool. Use a licensed library voice for the first exercise; custom voice work is optional.

1. Create your account

Go to elevenlabs.io and sign in. Open the creative audio tools and review the current usage allowance and output-use terms.

2. Choose a voice & model

Preview a suitable voice and select a model available to your account. Match the voice language and tone to the script.

3. Generate a short sample

Paste a brief script. Adjust only the settings relevant to delivery, generate a test, and listen for names, pacing, and pronunciation.

4. Export & assemble

Download the approved narration. Import it into your audio or video editor, balance levels, and add captions or supporting visuals.

2. Lean working stack

| Stage | Role | | --- | --- | | Approved script | Prepare the words | | ElevenLabs | Generate narration | | Editor | Mix & caption | | Human review | Listen & approve |

Arrows in the visual sheet show the order of work. External connections require separate setup. Optional tools may be replaced with ones you already use. This is a suggested stack for this task, not a universal optimum.

Keep voice rights explicit

Use an authorized voice. Do not clone another person without the required permission. Check the current plan terms before commercial publication.

Test names before long takes

Make a small sample containing the difficult terms. Fix pronunciation and pacing before spending usage on the full script.

3. First practice task

Welcome to Quill Productions. In this lesson, you will choose one useful AI task, provide clear context, and review the result before sharing it. Pause after each step and try it yourself.

Your setup is working when

The narration is intelligible, key terms sound correct, timing fits the visuals, and the downloaded file works in the final edit.

Troubleshooting

Wrong pronunciation? Revise the sample. Uneven delivery? Test settings one at a time. Cannot export? Check account limits and available formats.
